I have some problem in modular v2, i dont see the menu bar for device like OSC, FILTER etc....
help me please.
My setup is LUna2 + softw 3.01
Modular V2
I replied to this on CW (I should stop doing that
) but for the record: I had the same problem with a patch. I was cut and pasting modules from an old patch into the 8-in/out module and when I'd almost finished thought I'd drop a module in the usual way. But horrors, no menu. Nothing I could do made any difference - moving the file around, new folders, renaming patches etc.
So I forgot about it.
I called it up again a couple of months later. Magically all the menus were there.
The only things I'd done in the mentime was reinstall version 3 and 3.01 - so that's all I can suggest.

cesare,
i replied to you in the cw forum about this.
i got kinda curious when spirit and RedSun said after they reinstalled their module menus returned.
i don't have 3.0 and i will not be upgrading for some time.
so i tried this with 2.5 and 2.52, no difference when installing luna 2.5 and or updating to 2.5.2.....but, since my card is an elektra (luna II with special mod2 only os) i had previously forgeten i had the install cd and it had never been installed. so i gave it a shot.
the module menu is there in it. it also seems to have initially less redrawing problems than i have in luna 2.52 on my mac.
i tried dragging the modular contents of the elektra folder into the appropriate place in my luna folder, and it didn't change anything.
i'ma give the elektra os a shot. i only use the rm242, sequencer remote, mod2 with luna. i like the freeware stuff, saturn, comb plus, and the hummel instruments, i get a message saying "this is no elektra device" when trying to load them in elektra. but i could get by with just the mod2, really. lately i've been streamlining things as its so easy to collect gobs of things and not use them to their fuller potential

hmm, thanks for your reply. i've posted this problem before on all three message boards (cw, groups yahoo and here) and not many people have replied with suggestions or have had the problem themselves.
i'll explain how it works with my mod2. btw, the module menu for luna II works fine.
when opening up any patch i'm presented with a module menu of whatever i was navigated at in the file menu. i can change this after a patch is loaded by changing my location in the file menu and changing patches.
the squares that are in the module menu for the current file list when clicked display the directory of the disk luna is on.
if i'm navigated to inside a module folder with above trick i can drag these modules from their place in the menu into mod2. if i am navigated to any thing else, say effects or synths i can drag these from the menu onto the luna browser window.
cw gave me a curt reply saying they had never heard of the problem before and implied i was out of luck unless i could sort it out. i have a feeling its one of those 1000's of files in the luna folder which has some slight bug with my system.
to anwser your questions.
1. yes i've made my own patches from scratch. no difference.
2. i've dl'd many patches, no difference here either.
btw, after some short testing with elektra....while the idea of a working module menu is nice, the asio driver doesn't work with one of my main applications. and besides the module menu, luna works much better, and i am used to the interface.
