Can anyone tell me why my computer has killed the red colours on my monitor this has only happened since I inserted my Pulsar card, at the start I thought it was something Creamware added to make the system funky but since then I have found out this isn't so. Any help would be greatful as I am having trouble using soft synths such as Pro 52 cause I can't see the red on the onscreen synth

Can you take a screen shot of this? What color depth are you running at, what resolution, and what kind of video card?

I got your screen shot - and I can see the red text in the Pro52. Perhaps when you opened your computer to install Pulsar you bumped your video monitor cable loose? Also maybe check the connection your video card has on the motherboard, be sure it's firmly seated. Giggle the cable on the video card connection side, and the monitor connection side.

Thanks a lot Subhuman,
I have just got back online my net connection went down, I have tried what you said with the graphics card and checked the monitor lead with no luck, I'll check with a second monitor to find out if it's the monitor or graphics card that isn't working, thanks for letting me know that everthing seems ok with the screen shot on your system

I've seen this so often back when I was doing tech support. Everytime I've seen this, it has always been caused by bad monitor cables. One of the best way to test this is to wiggle the cable at both ends(one at the time) while looking at the monitor for color changes. If you see changes, you'll only have to change the cable.
