multicomp

Post by MCCY »

This is not a multiband compressor. It's a multi-compressor-compressor.
In Mubaco in one of the wilder versions 2 compressors are linked together that way too.
The in mubaco found principle of one value going through multiple stages of multiplication was what made it possible for me to build my first reverb trials, cause I knew that I needed multiple delays with different values (astroman once mentioned (about Paul Tantis verbs) something like a table which would be nice for controlling those multiple delays. My simple "table" had been found in the multiplicator ;) .
Now this principle is not exactly what seems to work well on compressors. :-? (It doesn't seem to work too fantastic well on reverbs too, thinking 'bout having used over 40 delays in VERBy07...) To be honest, I expected more from this Quattro-Comp. :D
