i will respect john cooper decision and i will not post and answer again on this post.
the truth has been writen for the first time after all your infamous test and post on me or das.but it's already spammed by the same few members...it will never ending.

i can't help you if you don't understand how to make a test, what is a phase cancellation or a level cancellation,what is a lisajou....that you don't have to use waves module with an audio source and some of your plugins to absolutly proove your bad test,instead of making a true test like this one with a freq generator directly on the plug.

as you say and write about polteq :" it seems to be"...the only things now is that i'm the father of this polteq.

maybe i should talk about sdk agreement and chocolates

...instead of making a simple phase test...i'm only talking about my plugin...

As Martin also pointed out this is not about audio properties - it's about identity of 2 signals which have the same source but are sent through 2 processors.
If one output is inverted, the sum will vanish completely in an ideal world if both processors do their job identical. Do you really question that ?

Since we have finite numeric precision this is impossible in the digital domain.
To (empirically) detect the limit of my system used 2 instances of the same device and they ended up at -150.3 dB .

Your argument chain in the quote above is bare nonsense, when you claim to have built an identical processor to CWA's PEQ4.
There is a 40 dB difference to the predicted result, so it cannot be identical.
If you define it as sufficient to prove identity, then you'd have to agree to Martin's test results, that simple.

You can also bail out by saying '...sh*t my system cheated and messed some buffers or whatever...'
No problem - Martin has been 'fooled' by his system countless times and so have I, even Olive confirmed this behaviour of Scope, let alone you yourself ('... it's somewhere in the protection module, but we don't know exactly what it is - one day this way, next day another...' )

But please stop this nonsense of being the target of a hate campaign - it would be better for everyone if the source of this type of instability could be tracked some way - it's in no way related to the plugins you write.

Even without me participating the result is exactly the same...
And the funny thing is, Eric is doing it all by himself.
I knew what was going to happen, if Martin, Tom or any others would participate in the discussion.
So the only way to avoid this to happen was to not react and to not discuss in freedom...
Not a nice idea actually.

The only solution still is DAS should go 'PRO'and get them a representative, but I doubt they will ever be that smart.

...and the reason for that is that there is no communication on content.
We disagree all the time on Planetz, about almost everything, but at least we know about whát we disagree...

BTW., we could decide to stop any contribution to the subject, whatever test DAS will show us...but one single question about the Poltek item by one occasional new member after a search here will bring it to the front again.

It's really annoying indeed (tho it has soap qualities), but the real culpritt is the lack of intellectual and rational approach by some french folks here.
Tell us then what is good or wrong to do here...without violencing the principle freedom of exchange of rational thoughts...

I thought about how we could get out of this situation. So now here is my proposal:

Eric, please ask me here officially and in public to remove my tests from planetz, as you now have done an "official test". Although my tests test absolutely different things than yours it should be up to you to decide if someone tests your device in public like I did. These tests arraised out of our discussion and were claimed to prove what I was stating. Now that this debate has maybe given all arguments from both sides I am willing to remove these tests.
Ask me to do so and I will remove them, altough still questioning the sense of the "official" test because thatone proves just that Poltec is not P4EQ, what was clear anyway at any time. If that's the only question thats important ... O.K. Let's stop it.

You can still go on with what you told me in pm. It's up to you, what you write to creamware or anyone else.

tho I feel respect for your gentleman's offer Martin, it would be a shame if this would happen.

First and most important:
it's rewarding extremely jerky and offensive behaviour from a side where one doesn't exspect it from (namely a company which
in a way basicly is a guest on this forum, as it performs here in the end on a professional base -no offend against anyone).

And secondly,it wouldn't change so mutch!
Sooner or later there will be another clash with these frustros, you can count on that.
Their behaviour has nothing to do strictly with your proof, they just can't handle it to perform on an internet forum, specially Eric that is.
(Sonolive also never argues on content, but has some understanding yet).

One single disagreement about something regarding one of his plugs or technical viewpoints and the man runs amuck.
It's not your proof, it's their unbelievable characters that are the problem here.

It just won't help!

It's also a totally different situation as when John deleted the 'Israel thread' of some time ago, but I won't dive into explanationf for that now.
Now it would be a prostration for jerkyness and untrue anti-scientific behaviour.

I would even prise John if he would ask you to not do so, as it would violence the history of the planetz files for perfectly the wrong reasons.

I hoped a bit this would happen now on it's own, as the proof of DAS itself and the followed discussion was maybe the last step to get things clear.
What else could come?
Anyway, I made backups of all testfiles and threads, so that the content will not get lost, in case of false statements by this or that person...

As long as we are discussing TECHNICAL ASPECTS and SCIENTIFIC HYPOTHESIS there is no problem at all! Ask me to remove the tests and I will do it completely respecting your then said wish that you don't allow (or don't want to) to keep this tests showing.
