Open scope default project at XP start (instead of startup p

If like me you forgot basic tricks in XP, here is a way to open scope at startup.
Tips: this tricks automatically opens the Default project by default, not the startup project . (If you need to open the startup project, try to add "-s" to the path of the shortcut that is described below)

- just put a shortcut in windows startup folder (see below for different locations for different languages) : the shortcut must point to SFP.exe which is in the scope App/bin/ folder.
nb: to create the shortcut, you go in the startup folder, create a shortcut with the context menu (right click an empty space in that folder to view the context menu). Choose "create a shortcut" and an application will open. Then you just browse to your SFP.exe file, and then the app ask you to name that shortcut (i called it, sfp shortcut!). That should be enough.

- restart the pc, and scope will start immediately when windows starts.

- Normally, scope project windows opens automatically (ie, you can see it, no need to click to open it)

==============================================

Different locations of the startup folder according to your XP language:
http://packetstormsecurity.org/Win/auto.txt
where you can read the following:
C:\windows\start menu\programs\startup {english}
C:\windows\Menu Démarrer\Programmes\Démarrage {french}
C:\windows\All Users\Menu Iniciar\Programas\Iniciar { Portuguese, Brasilian }

But it may be wrong : as it was wrong in my case :
Here the correct location is
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Menu Demarrer\Programmes\Demarrage\
{french}

May be other user would be kind enough to complement the location list for their own language.

Regards,

And thank you planetz.

MT,
You are a blessing once again. Giga has that feature, and it is sweet while performing to eliminate more trips to the LCD, as it is hard to see under stage lighting.
