it might be you have to build new projects if you are so lucky you can use all files (audio/midi)
I lost most of my year 2000 project in the same way, my scsi setup collapsed.
Luckely i had backup of all midi, and most of my audiofiles.

hope you are so lucky you can restore it all

this has saved where other recoverytools failed! (for me)

maybe folders are renamed so that the files couldnt be found

good luck

If I had a penny for every time I've said "Always Backup Your Data!" to somebody when their hard drive has failed, I'd probably have enough for a couple of pints of beer by now.

Hard disks FAIL. Every hard disk ever made will fail, 100% guaranteed. It's just a question of when. If your data is important to you, or means something to you, Back It Up.

Looks like these backups get fewer, further away from a crash.
I've been sloppy lately, need to take affaire :-)

I've certainly been a victim of not taking my own advice before now; I lost *all* of my digital photos including those of La Alhambra and Spain which I toured a few years ago on my bike. I was well gutted :(

That wasn't due to a hard disk failure (in fact, to this day I still can't work out what happened to them), but if I'd backed them up somewhere...
