Howdy folks,
Question about actual practice on the Prodyssey instead of what I perceive should be happening. I've got basically nothing tuned in but the noise generator right now hitting the mixer section. The filters are wide open. I would *expect* that if I opened up the VCA Gain that I would constantly hear the output of whatever was in the mixer section, however I'm only hearing it when the envelope generator is triggered and sends "cv" to the VCA. At that point, the VCA Gain slider acts like a master volume control.
Please tell me what I'm doing wrong here, as I want to have the mix unit contents being constantly pumped out the vca (hence, vca gain up) and not dependent on being triggered by midi if possible.
I could just be making this up, but the roland system100 keyboard had this function and it was very useful for creating drones.
