the cables are called TOS-Link, you may take the plug that closes the connector on the backside of the mixer to the shop, if in doubt.
(not to mess it with another type of optical connector that's used with hi-fi gear)

cheers, Tom
btw, nice location where you're from :)

I'm in doubt that the toslink plug will fit to the db25 connector he mentioned...

karali, why did you, btw, open the question again here? well, the devices forum was surely not exactly the right place for it, but my answer will be the same here (even if you dislike it :) )

aes/ebu is NOT optical, so you can't. sorry. if you want to use 8 in/out with the pulsar, go with an adat board. there is no cable that wires db25 electrical to fiberoptic toslink. the format the data is sent is different, too.
-what cable i need to use ? .
it's the already mentioned toslink-toslink. you could still use a format converter, but they are expensive.
maybe you are lucky getting an adat board cheaply from ebay.

the picture in the manual does not mention one. spdif rca is there, but all other digital i/o seems to be done via option boards.

the feature list in short words:
there are 24 channels max, while 1-12 are mono in, 13/14 and 15/16 stereo in, and 17-24 digital ins, IF an optional card is plugged in. and there is already one, the aes/ebu...
