Huub, how 'bout a big hug?
This is close to finish, some feedback about the balance, mix etc would be much appreciated

It all started out as a planetz project but other people got involved in the process so here are all credits:

Guitar solo: Paul Martin
Vox: Noémie Coquart, Laurent molini
Rythm guitar: Laurent Molini
Composed & arranged by Paul Martin & Laurent Molini
Lyrics by Laurent Molini
Samples were picked up here: http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/
Uses: vinco, optimaster, Celmo Bass Amp Modeler, Celmo Sub Booster, 24/48 mixer, DynamicMixer, Masterverb pro etc... oh yeah, an mpc 1000

JEEZZZZZZ, this got HUGE
extraordinary well organized, arranged, played, programmed, mixed and everything, I'm speechless!
great chorus lines also, rhythmically.
drums (perfect, programmed?), bass (fat'nfunky), keys (that Rhodes!), voices (great lines and effects, could use some PsyQ), effects (voices! Cat Stevens memories)), guitar (good one, Paul), style keeping, it's hard to believe you guys from all over the world put it together!
respect man, feel much better now indeed

thanks everybody who contributed to it, it shows the good vibes Planetz has.
It's a song not about me or my feelings of course, tho occasionally my name is in it, it's a song about Planetz and our spirit, and I'm sure I speak
for everybody when I say thank you guys, much fun and well done!!

haha, I really thought it was programmed, set on that track by the thought that it would be too much work to create and exchange live files.wayne wrote:That's a bloke playing drums, Huub - tight as a fish's schedule or what?
The guy has a quantize lob somewhere in his brains?

I'll check out the two basses more in detail, but it's clear that -together with realizing the drums- you did a great job here!
thanks again, everybody!

Écoeurant!
Just one thing. Look at the names I gave to the Barytone sax samples..
When the Morrison speech comes in you should have pur the Bb sample in there, not the F.. That one copmes in with the trumpets and trombones.
Can you also cut the altos and tenors at the ends of the phrases to give the inpression that the players breath?
hose, of course are my mistakes because I did not explain the samples clearly enough.
