New Products Install Question.

Post by Atomic Marshmallow »

Hello,

Excuse my ignorance, but I can't remember how I install the products that I bought online. Yesterday I bought Flexor by Adern and the Dynatube bundle. (I wish I had got them a day earlier, would have saved some money).

If it is not too much trouble, could you explain what I have to do to install the new products I bought?

Also, the allkeys.skf file I was sent with the products, does that also include all the serial numbers and modules I own for all my Creamware cards? So if I do a reinstall at sometime in the future, could I use either of the two new allkeys.skf files to reinstall everything or do they just apply to the new products?

By the way I read in an earlier post that I actually have to download the Flexor files from the Adern site. Once again excuse the basic (hopefully not too annoying) question, but do I first download version 1.0? Then, which update files. I see two 1.5, or is it both that I have to apply?

Finally, how do I get the Dynatube bundle. There I have no clue whatsoever!!

Thank you in advance for your response(s) .

just put the new files where they belong in your SFP directory (dll, dev, presets).
Start SFP and direct -when asked- to the allkeys file.
The Allkeys file containes keys for everything you have, if it's updated by Ralf.
Also check the other thread about Flexor in this forum.
It can't be difficult :-)

For DynaTube, you need your allkeys file that contains the keys....you can just look at the file in notepad to see what's there.

Then download the appropriate oxe files from here:

ftp://ftp.cwaudio.de/Software/Scope_family/nokeys_OXE/

and put them in your oxe folder (not sure the exact path, but you should be able to find them). Start up SFP and import the keys an viola.

I've got to go through the same process tonight, so let me know if you have problems and I can go into more detail after that.

cheers.

All OXEs must be placed in the OXE folder in your scope directory

C:\Scope 4.0\App\Oxe

now if you don't have an OXE folder simply create one.
