I don't know what you would call this either - but I like the weirdness .
just as an aside - the phrasing and sound of the vocal lines reminds me of "They Might Be Giants" - an influence of yours?

They Might Not Be Giants
They Might Be Giants? Never listened to their music knowingly. Been recommended to me a few times, just never had the chance. When they were out, I was living in university, drowning out ring-ranga-dong-de-de-holiday and bud-the-spud with Floyd and Moody Blues, and making avant garde music on my 4-track cassette recorder (now THAT was weird music). Vocal influences - haven't given it much thought - I'm borderline capable of singing in tune enough for autotune to fix the rest
