Well, I have been thinking about doing some kind of a podcast for Zarg Music stuff, but I'm not sure what would be interesting to discuss. It seems to me perhaps a video podcast would be more useful, to show how some things are done with my synths, etc.

I know there was mention of getting some of us developers to do a similar idea on SDK procedures. This would be VERY time-consuming, and I don't expect Creamware would provide funding for such a project.

cheers,

Check out Learngigastudio.com. It took them 9 years to produce this, and just think of the customers that they lost due to their lack of hands on support. CW is milking their algo's to the max now. Their boxes have such good presets that there is not much left for them to do.
We are all that is left. So let's do it to it. I anxiously am awaiting for the FM beast. I bought a sample library that has some cool stuff, but this sounds like the DX7 made in heaven, with an FSR1 and DX200 to boot. Send me a link when it's up and smoking.

Even a short tips video would be great. I love to read books but my technical/doze gene is too great. I really understand stuff much better when I can see how it's done. I enjoyed the first one in the series. :)

I think that this could be great Brain, but can you tell us a bit more about your own idea as a starting point?

My idea was a lot more simple. Create a topic "Creamware Podcast " with a feed for the entire "Discussion" not per thread as it is for this "Discussion". Include instructions that all music be podsafe meaning it has to be all original or with permission of the copyright owner(s). The only downside would be that this could create a lot of bandwidth use if many people apart from our group subscribe.

Definitely, it sounds cool, that could be great to hear some of the makers speaking about their devices and all. I see it so cool, that maybe this could be done through a sharing on the Creamware server itself. It could be a very good marketing strategy for them too, I mean, the only thing they would have to do is to share some resources to store the files in “their” server, but the interface being Planet Z.

Listening to somebody is a full experience compared with writing, you say and express different things too.

Would Creamware do something like this?

That would be cool Nestor but really I was just thinking about an RSS feed on the music section so I could automatically get our music when I download my podcasts.
