STS 3000 polyphony

Just noticed that with multiple chords I am only getting 4 notes of polyphony without dropout of sounds. I have RTFM and checked the polyphony setting in the MIDI tab under Program. The main screen shows 32 under Poly. Any thoughts on what I am missing?

I am using a grand piano (that came with pulsar) with all four programs loaded. 4 samples x 6 keys should be 24 voices, which would be well under the 32 the STS should muster. I do notice that there is no dropout if I mute one of the 4 programs. Can anyone help me with my math here?

Your program maybe at 32 voices, but the devices setting in the toolbar on top is at 16...
