TESTVERSIONS ARE NOW UP!!!

First there was MOVeq-classic and MOVeq fresh, the first two dynamic EQs with dynamic Gain, Frequency and Q for SCOPE.

Then came MOVknott, the study object for the real big jobs.

Now there will come MOVeq+ the completely rebuild result of my experiences from the two previous ones with new features & a completely redesigned GUI by a well known surface-Guru in the SCOPE-community.

- 8x fully dynamic (gain, frequency, Q) dynamic EQ with
- 8x pre inserts to achieve different kinds of control signal (gated, compressed, delayed, frequencyspecific...etc.)
- 8x sidechain input to let take extern sources control over the values
- MIDI-NOTE-CONTROLLABLE VALUES !!!!!!!!!
- FIRST DEVICES OF MOVamily (freeware) available!!!

You might want to test the MOVknott - demo in the devices-forum.
But some improvements to sound have been done in MOVEQ+. Better to try the demo, that will follow soon and listen

Martin

P.S. It has many, many totally different sound-possibilities. I won't draw any comparisons. Just imagine all those values smoothely moving, rhythmical or supporting bassdrum or pushed down by bassdrum or snare or other direct outs from a mixer...

I can say that - with the right settings - it may sound very subtile & musically. It brings live to whole mixes or a single instrument. Biut you can even build an auto WAH with it.
... too many possibilities - I will have to work on soundexamples and presets to show you some.

OMG, now it looks serious!

even my dumb mind can see now at first sight what would be possible with this device. ok, still some questions, but not too much. What do does L and R mean next to the inserts? Left Right? Hmmm, i may still didn't get it

great work! concrats to you and especially to pixelbites, i think without them you wouldn't sell much

That is the look that shows up in stage lighting too. Excellant, as movEQ is my favorite effect to use with auto panning my Scarbee Fender Rhodes samples, now I have the luxury of seeing my LCD through all the fog and lights too. I think that all of us at the Z are grateful for this forum, as it has helped in designing GUI's and devices which are designed to assist in the flow of creativity. The people who have assisted in this design have my hat off.

Thanks From An Appreciative Live Performer,

Nothing wrong with the Giu, just ask Katano to do a skin, I'm so sure it will be a good alternative...and just to see what's Gui is all about -or not

no question about design and style - an almost giger_esk look must be a winner

but ask your eyes after an hour of work with it
imho there's way to much detail - almost hiding the information.
Maybe less contrast with grid-like structures or a slightly increased size ?

the basic layout is much appreciated, the non-fake-realworld approach gives it a fresh look

cheers, Tom

Thank you all!!!!
This gives an even more positive kick to the work than the work itself!

I plan to build some special inserts (to influence the CONTROL(!)-signals for the device too:

- like the frequency controlled gate in the device-section
- shaping filters to get other reactions
- LFOs as inserts!!!!!! This will be an absolutely unique feature. (I think you can use the one I released for FI_SHx too)
...

& I want to have them in similar look - so it will be a real family (like the Shilo-family)

The MOVamily!

@Katano:

L & R is a 3-way button which selects inputs for the control-signal (EF). It can choose between left, right & sidechain (sc). After selecting the the signal source you can add the above mentioned shapers or what you like in the inserts to modify the control signals. One for each EQ-band/EF.

I minor improvement could be the fonttype and sizing on the numbers.

look at the 0.00dB:

the 0 and 0 is overlaying a liitle bit, because the numbers seem to close.
I think this could be easily improved by another fonttype or size.

not a big thing, but I just wanted to mention it.

and my recommendation is, not to overload the device again... sometimes less is more...

best regards.

It's nice to see you got such a great response to this Martin

I noticed that someone mentioned possible eye fatigue, so I thought it worth mentioning that the 4 buttons on the master out section under the title 'visuals' are dedicated to switching off dynamically moving visual feedback elements. 'MOD' switches on/off the dynamic movement of the green led surrounds on the 24 main eq parameters. 'EF' switches on/off the dynamic movement of the red led surrounds on the 8 EF gain parameters. 'MM' switches on/off the dynamic movement of the master input & output VU meters. Lastly, 'VUs' switches on/off the dynamic movement of the stereo VUs dedicated to each 2pareq section. Hope that makes some sense of the mysteriously named buttons for anyone wondering what they'll do.
