okay got following problem....
randomly after a restart SFP is popping up with a registration screen asking for registratio of my pulsar hardware.
It can easily be solved in two ways:
- close and restart SFP and it works fine....screen does not appear again
- selecting the allkeys-file
its not a big problem.... but still its sucks....
any solution?
tried a search here but found nothing similar... no other with this problem.
my OS is Windows XP and I got an nforce4 board with Athlon A64 3500+
repeating registration after restart
try reinstalling maybe, if nothing else does the trick.
(it happened to me long time ago, i think i just did a reinstall) (+ this happened after a fresh install, so i do not know if it is the same)
in any case, don't forget to backup your presets, devs and reg files in case you install in the same directory.

I have this from time to time too.
Have you changed something with your hardware, an usb drive or something?
If I guess right, I get this problem when I´ve forgot to deinstall my usb drive but disconnet it and do a restart of the computer.
As soon as I give the sfp setup the allkeyfile it works again.

how about making the scope.rgy file read-only?

jeah but then again it always helps and mostly saves time over searching the bug over days and analysing your registry...On 2006-09-12 06:10, spacef wrote:
I meant install only SFP or Scope.
Reisinstalling windows never solves a problem, it is only useful in case of a serious virus.
hehe

I m not sure but, I think its not a problem with the rgy file.On 2006-09-12 20:11, at0m wrote:

If there would be a change on the rgy file a restart of Scope would not be a solution...
So it seems more an conflict of talking between scope hardware and the SFP software, right after restart....
You know when all other programs are loading, skype, drivers, daemontools, and every other ....
maybe scope ask fo the keys, and my harddrive has an overload of requests, so the keys are delivered too late and Scope quits with the registration screen.
Don`t know, but thats my feeling, as an PC guru...
