I already have everything else, and will not be upgrading to 4.5 - but I would like to get the SBC module.

Thanks!

The upgrade is 99eu IIRC, i think the device on its own would cost more

I have no need to upgrade to 4.5 just to get this module - if it is even worth it.

Haven't read any convincing reasons why I should 'upgrade' to 4.5 from 4.0.

My system is running very stable right now, and the studio is too busy for the Summer to even consider an 'upgrade'.

Guess I'll contact Creamware, but not having any expectations.

As I see it SBC is nothing else than AndreD 's "Spectral D" which is found in his Mastering Suite:

There are some betas of his moudules around too (but not for the spectral D as it looks today).

Is it still not possible to get the SBC alone? Even with the Summer special?
I contacted Creamware a few months ago and (of course) never heard back.

I already have everything else I need running under 4.0, and still don't see the necessity of upgrading to 4.5.

Guess I'll have to try to reach Creamware again.

Thanks,

Greg

How about ordering the upgrade and just installing the SBC .oxe instead of the whole 4.5 pack? That couldn't possibly harm the system - if 4.0>4.5 upgrade doesn't change registration keys at least. Can someone give closure on that?

I thought of doing this, but am not sure it's worth doing the whole upgrade just for one module.

Any other thoughts on this?

See here before you start getting sleepless nights over the SBC
Maybe that's one of the reasons it's not for sale individually...

And if it'd ever become for sale separately, do you think it will be any cheaper than the 100€ of the 4.5 upgrade pack?

Thanks, I'll check this out. I know about the supposed bug.

$130US is nothing to me, but still seems high for a 6-channel device. The prices on the psyQ, etc. seem more 'reasonable'. It probably doesn't matter.

Thanks again,

Greg
