Hi,
For a while I've been burning my tunes on Mixed Mode CD's, where by default the first track contains mp3 versions of the tunes burned on following tracks as audio CD. Most of my friends would convert the CD to mp3's anyway when they get it at home, this way I provide them with the mp3's saving them time and providing instantly properly tagged rips of my music.
Using Nero, CD players recognise the first track with mp3's as data track on an audio CD, and tunes start for the CD player as from track 2. This is a bit annoying I find, cos logically one would number the tracks as the number displayed on the CD player.
Does anyone know how to make the data track the last track, or the "-1" track, or even make it invisible to standard audio CD players? I've tried googling some, without obvious result. I'd be happy if someone here could shed a light on how to burn CD's from which the first track from CD player's view wouldn't be the mp3's, but the first song on the audio CD part.
Enjoy yer weekend,
at0m.

The idea of the '-1' track came from some commercial CD's which have a 'hidden' or mistery track at the beginning, and putting mp3 rips on the same CD avoids back and forth conversions, as in copies of copies which degrade...
Glad you like it, hope someone here may give us a clue on how to refine it
