beside doing home recodring of my own song, i also play in an italian hard.core/punk/rock band.
recently i recorded one of our piece, just to try something before recording the full album.
the drums were recorded in multi-track using akgd112, shure sm57, roytek cm200wb, behringer C1 and samson c02.
the bass was direct recorded using a presonus tube pre and then applying convolution impuse from a bass cab speaker using voxengo boogex
i will tell you how i recorded the guitas later, first i'd like to know what to think about them!

since our singer had some problem with his work, he recorded his voice byhimself in his home using an sm57 and a soundblaster...

all the recording and processing (beside voice rec) was done with a creamware pulsar and sonar4.
the mastering was done using creamware psyQ and optimaster.

what do you think about the results??

i posted just a 1 minute exerpt... it is sung in italian...

thanks!
