Hi,
But, does anyone out there own a Korg Triton Rack? I know someone who is willing to sell theirs for 400 maybe if I talk him down 350 euros. There seems nothing wrong with it and it didn't fall off the back of a truck. How would you rate it as a synth? Is it true that you can also use the unit as an external FX unit?
Thanks

I used to heavily use the triton, was a user since the trinity days. It's definitely a good thing do have, especially for ready made stuff that actually sounds pretty good. Better than many of the sampletank presets imho.
For effects, it's questionable. I wouldn't see why you'd use it as an effects unit when many free vst effects have better quality and better integration with your computer.

Just to know if it's possible. If it is, it broadens the pallette even more. More possibilities and things to experiment with. I hear the Triton effects are supposed to be quite good.On 2006-07-16 18:26, kensuguro wrote:
