I did the usual things that make Pulsar crash and it's staying up now ! But so mnay crashes and false hopes lately have made me anxious so I'll have to wait a few more days before I celebrate.
But these problems haven't stopped me from more spending... Targets now are are Pulsar XTC (more DSPs for me!!) and maybe celmo's Guitar Amp Sim (for keyboards of course ).
Good idea. The Amp sim is coool! Not as good as the small red one, but I'm very happy with it. And XTC, well hmm
Happy pulsaring

(thinking about missing euros)
Yes , I'm on Win98 First Edition. I'm sitting here looking at the Win98SE disk wondering whether I should just trash everything and install 98SE....

Micha: why the question mark about XTC ? I won't be running in XTC mode, just want the extra DSPs, are there problems ? And what's the "small red one" ?
Also, I'm running win98 first edition with 98lite sleek and have yet to experience a bsod or crash on exit. But this is a dedicated, audio only system, trimmed down to the max (no IE, games, office etc) so this may be the reason.
Yeah, pulsar seems to work best on a clean system. When I only had one computer, I used a dual boot setup which works very well and is like having 2 C: drives(only one available at a time). I had one windows installation that I cluttered up with all sorts of crap and games etc (sound blaster enabled, pulsar cards disabled) and when it stuffed up, I was still able to boot into the other one which was all trim and clean used for pulsar only (sound blaster disabled, pulsar cards enabled).
The good thing was, the pulsar installation was always available no matter what I did to the other one:)
