Hi, a good start would be to create a new menu tab on your SFP routing window by adding a folder named 'Zarg' or 'Bowen'. To do this, just go to Scope/Devices/ & add a Zarg folder containing the device file. After you reboot SFP, you'll then have your new Zarg pull down menu containing the Pro-Wave
What type of file is it that you've put in the new folder? You need to have an 'mdl' or 'dev' file to do it the way I suggested. If it's an 'oxe' I'm pretty sure you need to drop the oxe file into the Scope/App/Oxe folder then boot Scope. A 'dev' file should be visible after installation which you can then move to your new Zarg folder & reboot SFP.
Shit, I hope that's right, as we've got a 'plugininstaller' app but I thought that was just for the Noah
You could also get in touch with John if you have a problem. He's really cool & always helpfull.
Ok, well it's not a custom installer then. Are you on XP? If so, what does file 'properties' say about the file? Are you sure there's no file extension? No 'oxe', 'dev' or 'mdl' extension, or 'rar', 'zip' extensions?

just add '.zip' to the filename and unzip it into a temporary directory (that sometimes happens with Whalemail)
It should give you one or two .mdl files, a .pre file.
Drag the .mdls into a folder in your scope directory under hd:sfpdevices (any subfolder will do)
Drag the .pre file to where your presets are located.
Restart SFP so it recognizes the new entry.
cheers, tom
forgot: congrats and have fun
