PowerPulsar=ScopeProfessional-WhatHappensWith4.5update?
I just bought a PowerPulsar-board via ebay and was very dissappointed, that there was really no interesting software on board. - no Mix&Master, no Synths & sampler - package.
Hm. O.K. this does not matter, if I can get it all with the update to 4.5 - am i right, that I'll get the full professional software with both packs etc. when I update to Version 4.5?
Am I right, that Power Pulsar is Scope Professional?
I hope so. If not this was a very bad buy and even wrong information from the seller.

A PowerPulsar is the same deck as the Scope Pro nowadays, but it came with the basic Pulsar software. You can buy one of the packs to complete the devices list, and you might even apply for the SDK at CW's with that deck

Do you use your new card alone or in connection with another CW card?
Update to V 4.5 includes M&M and S&S packs for Scope pro.
But if you connect your PP via S/TDM with another card where 4.5 is already installed, all your software you can use with your new DSPs, too. So no update would be necessary.

Unfortunately, you will only get one or the other (whichever you choose), but not both with the PowerPulsar. You might check this thread:

You could choose the SnS pack with the Upgrade, then order the MnM pack from PlanetZ for a very nice price. You'd be helping John Cooper out at the same time.

So creamware's statements are really misleading. 4.5 upgrade does not update scope pro to the actual software scope pro level. The problem for me is that I bought the card as Scope professional which was quite misleading too. I thought there should have been more software on it... but thats my problem.
I'm not that rich. Prices have been discussed enough, surely creamware's prices are fair, but they should express themselves clearly. I really don't understand why they can't make one site with information, what plugs one gets, so I knew it before buying Scope Pro and assuming that I'd get the whole Scope Pro software.
I can't afford two packs and for my aims one pack makes no sence at this time for this money. So I'm remaining sad, waisting some hundred € but with some more DSPs.
Hopefully I'll get SDK, or did they change something in this offer too?

You're very right, samplaire. Maybe I'm too much in theory right now, cause the board did not arrive so far (just got it registrated).
It will be really a difference with more DSPs using all those hungry freeware which makes live with scope very very happy.
Just tried out the Nord- Synthesizer again. Wow. And all those modular patches which were a Problem with few DSPs...
Thanks for reminding me of the bright side

let me have a look on my list...*lookingveryproud*...
"Spectral balance controller" yes - it's on board ;o))))))
Tomorrow hopefully the card will arrive. Being too curious, I couldn't wait for the post, so I had to update today. Ralf did it within minutes. Great job.

P.S. Is SBC same ultrahigh quality as PSY-Q? I think Psy-Q is just brilliant.

that's cool guy.... indeed with such a board there is no reason for being sad at all !!! Those plug ins kill and you will find out that it is worth it to get little by little the plug you need. Just buy what you really need. My advice : THE best soft reverb P100 by sonictimeworks at 99 USD !!!! Or chose a good synth among B2003, minimax, ... Or may be transcient designer by SPL made for creamware !!! You have the choice guy !
