tracking, production and mixing for sure...
mastering usually involves very specialized hand made gear, if you're really talking about top flight, real mastering studios.....
otherwise, yes, people are using scope for mastering, but not at the highest levels. i'd ask why would they? real mastering studios don't use protools, they don't use just about ANY name brands that you might recognize, except maybe manley and apogee. there ARE plenty of REAL studios using scope, i don't get the question....Giftig's latest releases for BMG were mastered with scope(brainrox), does that count?

the "most known" mastering studios here in Italy, are equipped with sonic solutions, sadie and some expensive outboard.
The interesting point is that often, the results are not so good and in most of cases the mastering session is based on opening presets.
This is why many artists are avoiding this commercial circuit of studios to benefit the tools offered by low cost/high quality systems such as scope.

Well my productions too, interely produced, mixed and mastered with scope (with some help of some other stuff like Har-bal and some other vst plugs).
Ok,im not the guy behind latest Madonna production but i've get lot's of appreciation (for the mastering quality in particular) from pro's all around da world including some guys that remixes stuff from people like George Michael,Simple Minds,Simply Red,Level 42 and a lot of others...
So,i think,with scope...u can!
Take a look to some of my stuff if u wanna ear something:

With these great tools, CW and 3rd party developers allow us to master ourselves. Isn't that why we bought into this platform?
Some people call Scope " the poor mans Pro Tools," I call it Pro Tools with Great Synths. Fairlight seems to enjoy CW's implementation of SHARC's. But you can easily master yourself with these tools. You must hear and think on multiple levels. Hell don't let the hype stop you, just think of the Blair Witch Project. You know the movie that broke all records with profit/ROI amounts. They spent very little money in pre, and post production, but their profits were phenominal, and they didn't believe in anything but themselves.
