Apple announced that iTunes is now for the pc as well as Mac.

Could Logic Audio for the PC be far behind?

Meanwhile, I'm considering the transition from logic to Cubase SX, as I don't expect to ever see Logic upgraded on Windows again

how about the whole apple operating system running on the pc. we could call it apptel instead of wintel. who would care about another windows update for logic after that?

Running Mac emulator doesn't bring kernel audio to pc's... Longhorn will. (Longhorn also introduces some phoney privacy issues which I wont discuss here)

John:

Cubase SX 2.0 was just released. Consider it a gigantic bug fix. They finally got Cubase right.

sounds funny the way you present

it's the new way MacOS-X chains audio programs.
It's also the new VST like plugin system.
I'm urgently waiting for CW to change to MacOS-ten

It's the new OS standard, like DirectX on Windows. VST should be phased out.
