i'm experiencing some problems (bugs?) in saving midi CC assignment in SFP device.
for example, i load PEQ mono or stereo either as insert in the mixer or in dynatube. i assign midi CC to peak frquency Q and gain. everything is working correctly (the automation is fine).
then i save the cc assign in "MIDI Controler", save the preset file.
now, when i open another instance of PEQ and load the "MIDI Controler" preset i just saved, i find no assignement in the knobs!!!
other devices are working perfectly (dynatube, TQdrive, optimaster)
but some other have some problems in saving some specific controller.
for example, in minimax i'm not able to save "glide ON/OFF" and the "retrigger" switch, while in B2003 the drive out knob, drive on/off button, vibrato type knob are not saved, while all the other controllers are.
i found that this behaviuor is not dependent on the CC number, while is dependent on the specific synth/FX knob/button.
and i want to stress also that the MIDI automation, just after the CC assign in the synth, is working good! the problem is when i save the preset patch and reload it in another preset instance!

about the minimax,
search the minimax update and it should fix it.

About peq, i have found the same issue and other bugs, such as when you try to assign midi cc to the same parameters ove more eq bands, it replaces the previous band cc settings and it is not possible to control more than one eq band over midi cc.

My set-up went through hell because I tried out a tip that worked, but then would lose my presets, and reload with MIDI CC assignments only. The trick was to store a MIDI CC preset, in the preset bank in #00 position so when loaded, a MIDI CC would load first, then program change #01 would load w/o incident and carry along the MIDI CC's that loaded at project start-up. It worked the first few times, but then I noticed strange behavior in improperly stored FX,etc.
I have since restored everything back to normal. There is no shortcuts, load your project, then load every devices MIDI CC's seperately. This will insure that everything functions right. I have only 1 small bug that I just noticed recently. Since I use a real rotary cabinet w/ Scope, I never programmed in the CC for B2003 rotary emulation speed, for I always use the PRO3t. But my last gig would not allow stage monitors so I used a seperate project for FOH applications which won't allow stage monitors. Everything worked fine until I recalled the set-up the next night. The rotary emulation speed control cannot be saved for recall. This is the only bug I have in my rig. I constantly am looking for shortcuts for an all load up at once dream by pushing a button once. This is delusional on my part. Scope works great, and I am impressed with not ever crashing once at a gig for 9 months now. The trick is, if it works, and you have to do a few extra keystrokes, don't fuck with it.

To Us, And Those Like Us,
