I have an ART Tube MP preamp and i have connected to the analog in on a SCOPE Pulsar Soundcard(4.0). I have attempted to connect an lectric guitar and a mic through this unit. The problem I'm having is that I can't seem to record or playback from my CUBASE VST(3.7). Does anyone have a suggestion for setting up VST to make this happen....Seems simple but I can't get it done.

Edit your scope environment.

i.e. Analog source -> ASIO dest

Then run Cubase with scope ASIO driver

the path of the signal. if you can trace it, you can record it. it works just like in the real world(out to in). as stated in the last post, the asio dest module represents the physical input jacks for cubase if you choose asio scope in the cubase device setup. you can change the number of asio ins and outs by right clicking on the asio source module...read the manual. it is important that the asio source and destination modules are in the project with the proper number of ins and outs BEFORE opening cubase. if you wish to change the number of ins and outs or the type of asio module(i use asio2 24bit), you must first close cubase.

Thanq for your time, my problem is that I can't seem to find "device setup" in Cubase 3.7 or the preoject window.

In cubase 5 it is options>audio setup>system.

Cubase 3.7 is a very ancient app, wonder if it even works with scope?
