glitch within cubase on playback

I'm getting glitches in cubase sx every few bars or so at rancom points i get a glitch during playback.

tried altering the latency and no joy

all other audio programs using asio drivers, do not glitch its only within cubase

what troubleshooting can i try

i think its midi thats causing the glitches, only thing ive changed relecently is my midex 8 drivers, perhaps thats it

unplugged my midex 8 and rebooted, still getting the glitchs, i still think its midi related, any ideas on solutions i could try as its really annoying me having to listen to glitches

maybe it's a specific plugin...

no cant be, haven't got any open, although it could be rewire. I'm using reason for percussion?

Its easy enough to try making a track without rewire active to see if its the culprit...
