Hi,

Quite frequently, when I hit the stop button on the Cubase Transport Bar, my machine freezes completely.

Has anyone else experienced this?

cheers,

Chris

Never experienced any hangs on my system, but it's entirely Intel so it's rock solid. What hardware do you have, and what OS? Any error messages when you get the hang? And is your Cubase a crack or an original?

Gigabyte Dual PIII 550Mhz
Windows 2000 SP2
Cubase 5.1R1 (with Dongle!!!)

Although I'm leaning towards believing this is a problem with my MOTU Midi Express XT USB interface rather than the Pulsar

Anyone experienced those kind of problems?

cheers,

Chris

In Cubase/Preferences/Midi Preferences on the Reset page:
Try UNchecking "Send Reset Data on stop".

Thanks, that sounds interesting. I'll give it a go on the next project I start and let you know how I get on
