XTC with SX2 and 1010LT - help!

I´m a complete newbie to this world so please be patient... I´ve just bought a Pulsar XTC (no I/O) to use in XTC mode from SX2 with my M-audio 1010LT card. After a lot of work I got the rig to work to some extent. I can add compressors to audio tracks, but when I try to add reverb to a send playback stutters so it´s impossible to listen to - it sounds like constant CPU overload. I´ve done nothing to my XTCProject.pro since I can´t get a clue to what to do... Any ideas? Or even better - someone who has a working .pro-file to upload?
