Hi,
I'm really new to Creamware cards but so far am impressed by the ability it offers.
Here's my delemna. I have had a Tascam FW1082 8 channel DAW controller which I use with Cubase SE. I just got my creamware card last month and am trying to set it up to use with the FW1082 (I know this isn't commonly done). I know that the Scope card is going to need the Asio drivers and the controller the wav drivers. I will also mention that I have an 8 channel Behringer ADA8000 which I plug into the ADAT A. I know every input needs an output but this has me overwhelmed.
Can someone walk me through the steps I need to take in order to first off, get the ADAT routed properly. Secondly, how to set up the FW1082 through the creamware card and then out with the scope-asio drivers so that I can use them in tandem with Cubase SE.
Or, should I ditch the controller and go with another 8 channel ADA8000 and just worry about routing the two through the card and solve my problem this way?
Any help on this is greatly appreciated. I'm sorry if this sounds confusing but this is the confusion I'm working with here lol.

Luna 2 (Scope Home EX PCI w/ ADAT)
First put up adat source and destination in the scope routing window.and connect them to your mixer.I don't have the adat, but it's probably in hardware.

Don't ditch the controler
I also got tascam but fw1884.
Connect tacam adat with luna, and connect also adda8000 with luna (both in and out of both tascam and behringer to luna adat io)
Then load a mixer in luna, connect all needed adat src to mixer inputs, and send the mix out of this mixer out to let say, adat dest 1-2 that is going to the tascam. Use the tascam as a volume for your monitor. Monitor the luna mix thru tascam.
Best setup you can do imho
and pretty effective by the way.

I know that the FW1884 has adat capability if I remember correctly but the FW1082 doesn't. The only i/o I have on the back other than line and xlr are Firewire, coaxial (sp/dif?) and midi 1 & 2 i/o.
I might have to just come to terms about the tascam and either upgrade it to the FW1884 or another 8 channel ADAT box instead of causing myself grief.
If there's one thing I'm learning is that the lesson is being patient will eventually pay off even if it means that I have to sell off some gear that worked before to buy gear that will work more efficiently with a different interface...it's just frustrating.
Thanks for the thoughts everyone.
JT.

I've got my solution. I'm going to buy an FW1884 and sell the 1082 on ebay to recover some of the cost. That should solve my problem of trying to run both interfaces with only one asio driver that I currently have. I've got a project coming up and I can have them throw some money into the pot for this.
Thanks again for a direction on where to go with this issue I created for myself
