export midi with SX

I exported a midi file from a Cubase sx project because I wanted to import it in acubase vst machine there are fourteen seperate tracks with its own midi notes.
when I try to import it I get all 14 tracks but it has put all the midi notes on every track, so every track is the same and full of notes?
what do I do wrong? never seen this before with cubase-vst.

Perhaps you should export in Midi Format 1 instead of Format 0?
