I own the PSP 84 which is silky smooth. How does this compare? Can it perform real time modulation of delay times without glitches? If so I would definately be inertested.

hello there. Echo 3 does NOT do any modulated delay-time. I do not think it is possible in scope without glitches anyway, except for very short delays (a few ms).
It is fairly different from the PSPs (that i used a bit before Echo) and it has its own character. It would not replace a SpaceEcho ( I was proud that some Roland Project managers contacted me for their dsp plateform, but I do not know any motorola programming so i had to decline, to my disapointment..).

All I could add could be considered advertising or marketing so i cannot add much (it's my preferred echo device ever, so...).

The problem of echo is that it is not a hardware.
Btw, the core model does not come from tape, but was inspired by oilcan echo/delays (telrays and a few others) but it drifted to something purely scopish and very different at the end.

I think there are a lot of opinions from Echo users inside various spacef related topics here and there. so if they do not reply to your questions, please make a search about it, and i hope you will find opinions to help you make yourself an idea).
