V Dat Problem

I might say b.s., but I remember having read that in the file you point to load the VDAT project is specified the directory in wich the wav files were recorded. If the directory has changed for some different partitioning or files moving, it points to the wrong place. I also remember that someone suggested to rename that file as .txt, finding the line where the wav files are addressed and change it with the new location, save, rename it with the original extension and all should be fine.
If you backup the original file and try it won't hurt...

hi there,
i think theres a lil misunderstanding evolving(maybe cause english isnt my native) but i dont have problems with opening old recordings. when i recorded something and i delete the vdat and load it again i cant record anymore unless i reboot sfp, also after the recording my meters of the 24/48 or 48/96 mixer wont show anymore.
is there anyone who has noticed this also?
