Hi!

I have pulsar1+srb. software 3.01, syncplate, cubase 5.0R6.

How can I sync Cubase to an blackface adat? I want that when ADAT plays at 2:00:03 Cubase should play at 2:00:03 too. When the ADAT stops Cubase should stop as well.

ADAT->syncout->syncIn(syncplate)
syncplate source clk -> ASIO2.0 clk
Cubase sync auf ASIO 2.0 and sync activated in the transport window.

But Cubase ignores the ADAT timecode....

Cubase needs to receive Midi Time Code, too.

The syncplate source module has MOut or MTC (I,m not shure now). You must connect it to a Sequencer Midi Dest module. Then, you'll be sending positional information to Cubase via the midi driver, plus digital clock information (that you've already conected) via ASIO driver.
You need, too, to set Cubase to folow Midi Time Clock, and not its internal clock.

I think that's the problem.
