Serious sample conversion

Is this issue old?? I got cdxtract to convert s5000 (the paulmartin post) samples but what da ya know? They don't convert properly! Especially the piano programs, some of them work, and some don't. Some work if I use soundfont format, some work in pulsar format. So are there any other options out there concerning sample conversion? (something more rock solid?)

Ken,
I had same problem before.
Try the Awave-studio V8.0 (shareware), for S5000 to S1000 conversion.

WOW! Thanx for the timely reply. Now I can use the sample in the project I'm working on. Can't believe I spent 70 bucks on the stupid CDxtract program.. The thing's buggy as hell, and can't convert right. The question is, what did I pay for. People, get Awave!
