I just come off the phone with Ralf, he send me a new keyfile but I already knew this is not the problem,
when I try to import the allkeysfile I get the message: " registry: can not open registry file"
and then I have to klick
about 30 or more times ok!
than nothing happens!
I think it has something to do with settings in Windows because I can't install seperate oxe files too
I do remeber some talk about this here on Z but can not find it.
Ralf told me to send the string...... but I'm not getting there.
I hope we can resolve this tommorow because CW is going on holidays for 2 weeks,
btw: HAPPY holidays for everybody Here on PlanetZ an the Creamware-team.

Virtualstudio,
Have you tried both ways of installing an oxe file?
- by double clicking
- by putting them in SFPAppOxe and restarting Scope
Hope this brings you closer to some nice hollidays

You don't have to open them, ie. Windows Explorer doesn't have to recognise them as executables, if you put them in that oxe folder I pointed at previously...On 2005-12-23 09:23, virtualstudio wrote:

have you tried to set the folder (or the files) to be read&write enabled as suggested?
A bit OT but somehow related: there at a studio I work is an eMac G4 with OpenOffice. The girl that is working on it got furious once after she tried to edit a document. The program showed a message 'the document isn't in edit mode'. The second thing was after she wrote a newly created document and saved it in the folder - nothing saved and without any info message... The problem was thie folder with the documents was set to 'read only' - nobody set it to this state. The most probably after it was copied directly from a backup CDRom it automaticly became 'read only'.
