Hi:

I am experimenting troubles with my Pulsar2 card. When I try to load some plugins this message appears:

"A communication error with Pulsar2 (board 0) has occured. This problem can normally be corrected by reloading de DSPs. Do yoy want to try that?"

At the same time a very, very loud noise start. It noise its like a feedback extreme. Its loudness could easily break my audio monitors.

I can work with my pulsar normally, but when I start to add more plugins or sintetizers, the system dont support it. But the DSP METER is under 50%. So, anybody knows about it? Please help me!

Yes use to get that in v3.1.

Try re-installing drivers.

i've encountered this problem using 3 linked cards.

I've solved it by addind some string in cset.ini file:

i don't know if you have just 1 board if this could help, but for just one board try to add the same lines without the others, or for more than one boards, it depends by irq assignments, the board 0 is the board with the lower irq, just try to set it as host.
[hw]
numboards=3

[board0]
boardid=0
[board1]
boardid=1
[board2]
boardid=2

[Host-Config]
Numboards=3
Board0=Host

Thanks, I will try that. I only have one board conected with a A16 ultra by Z-link (firewire).

My computer has 2 processors. I read this can make some problems, but then I try with a MAC and the problem comes again. So I hope this string can help.

Thanks,
Edgar

It does not work. My version is 4.0. I'm thinking its a hardware failure. Another suggestion?
