asio problem

sometimes in the middle of work my cubase stays without asio support! in the screan appears window with question if i want to proceed and i click "proceed". than is everything ok. whay is that happening and where could be the problem?!

which version of cubase are you using ?
I had the same problem with cubase 3.x.
then the problem suddenly disappeared, but I dont know wether it was cause of the new cubase or of the pulsar 2...

i always use newest version! now i have 5.1. but this is not problem with cubase because when this happens i'm not able to use any player and wavelab.
actually, this is not only asio problem.
is it possible that pulsar board is loosing some contact with main board and rest of the hardware for few moments?!?!

it's likely an asio problem.does this happen to simple projects or projects with heavy effects and many tracks? if the latter then more memory might help........

simple or nosimple - the same thing!?
2.04 or 3.01 - the same?!
cubase 5.0 or 5.1........
i will tray to remove and add again my pulsar boards and i will let you know.
for me it looks like hardware (contact) problem! this problem i have few mounts ago and disapear and now start again for no reason?!

Is this occuring after you have mad adjustments to your Pulsar project??

I use pulsar 5.1 and when I adjust the asio routings in my Pulsar project, Cubase whens to remap itself to accomodate the changes I've made and asks me if I wish to save a copy first or 'Continue'.

I therefore now try to think well ahead and over configure my project to avoid having to make any changes in this area. Inevitably I do but I do my best to minimise the number of time I have to.

Then again this may have nothing to do with the problem you're having

yes, that what you have told me is normal.
irrespective that, now i don't have this problem anymore. maybe could be problem with contacts.
i put my cards out and in the computer and for now it's ok!
