Is 4.5 NEW SOFTWARE Or Just NEW PLUGINS?

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know yet if the new 4.5 software is actually updated to support things like dual processor, dual core, hyperthreading and 64 bit? Or is it just adding in some more plugins?

I just automatically go to the Scope/XTC forum instead of looking on Announcments.
I see there have been some rather heated discussions about the "new" one...
Good to see some movement in the PCI cards department but 4.5 is still not what I need though.
Ah well. Back to TC PoCo FW and UAD-1's
