spdif dest
I am absolutely, positively, without a doubt SURE that in Pulsar V3.01 under both WinME and WinXP, that SPDIF destination works. I use that to listen to movies and MP3s and even used it last night.
I suggest you remove the SPDIF dest from your project and be sure to reload it from the V3.01 devices into your project again. I installed V3.0 followed by V3.01 update and that's it, worked fine...

yes i have the same problem.
question is, why do we need spdif out anymore.
my mixes go straight to cd, i don't really need spdif out to my dat machine anymore, come to think of it, i don't need a dat machine at all.
of course, if you were using spdif as a extra send or something than that's a shame.

My analog inputs/outputs are silent, sounds like you may have a ground loop problem with your electrical wiring.
For the SPDIF, it absolutely works, no problem, in Pulsar V3.01. I use it daily. I never installed any SPDIF patch, either, just V3.0 followed by V3.01 update. Be sure to remove all SPDIF devices from your project, and add clean ones from the V3.01 install, double check your master/slave settings and be sure the little light is lit up next to the SPDIF on the Samplerate settings dialog. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you... Only SPDIF DestL and SPDIF DestR are needed for your standard stereo outputs, the other connector is only for AC3 passthrough.
BTW, I haven't used AC3 passthrough mode yet, but you can do this with the "Digital Wave Source" connected to the SPDIF destination, all 3 wires will need to be connected in that case.
