Same question for me. I have a Pulsar2 + 6 DSP SRB without S'n'S or M'n'M pack.
I read some pages back that I have to use the Scope Home upgrade option, if I decide to upgrade (Probably I will). Cool, because I still don't have the extra plugs offered in the new upgrade. (modIII???, EDS-16i, STM4896, SBC...) But since I don't have a scope home card, I want to be sure that there are no disadvantages using this with the rest of my plugs..
So it would be nice if the website shows more scenario's for the different cards with or without the plugin bundles, like Scope Project without a S'n'S or M'n'M pack, that would make it more clear and less confusing.

Anyway, I have nothing to complain and I find this a nice christmas gift for the users who don't have a lot of extra plugins yet

excerpt from the 4.5 form :

... and SHORTLY after the purchase transaction we will send you the referring Activation Key for your SCOPE system via email.

Clever guys, they didn't indicate any time frame to deliver the keys... It can take as long as they want now.

Got my key, and got the same as Bosone, Ordered yesterday, so I guess it's just a matter of the people over at CW getting the keyfile together.

And I'm happy camper

Good news, if they are sending the keys to some peeps...
Even if it seems they use "last in, first out" distribution strategy...

I've written to Creamware now for some clarification as I have quite a number of the synths & FX which come with v4.5 already so am not sure of "what's in it for me".

I'll post back if & when I get a response!

Royston
Well, I got a response (of sorts):

"As per CreamWare Head office ALL DSP cards can benefit from this upgrade.

So you will get the keys that you don't have for your pulsarII to go to Scope Project 4.5"

Hmmm  Not entirely enlightening.

I got the keys !
I can confirm what has been posted previously.
In case of an old regular Pulsar II (no Synths & Samplers package) you get the SB404, the Profit12, the B2003, the EDS16, the Masterverb Pro, the Graph EQ, the SBC and the STS4000..
Nice Christmas gift !
THANKS CREAMWARE, I promise to be good now (but how about a "Complete your Creamware collection" bundle now ... )

Royston, it seems plainly that some will benefit more than others. The major step seems to be to have upgraded Scope Home users to Pulsar software status, meaning although everyone can benefit in some way, those who will benefit the most are Luna/Home users.

What it does mean, is that if you've bought individual apps worth say 1000 euro, they will now not add as much value to your card if you choose to sell it. This Xmas pressy means that some people will have lost out big time financially on the full price software they've purchased in the past years. This however, is sadly the nature of buying *anything* new (hard or software) & something you have to deal with when it hits you in the face. If you didn't expect it, you should have & if you did expect it, only the value of your gear will be affected, not your opinion of the manufacturer you bought from.

except of course if you bought something like a TB303 for 25 bucks back in 80's when no one wanted one...

btw. I remember some people complaining when CWA started bundling the M&M or S&S packs with new cards because the "loyal, long-time users" didn't get anything while the new users only benefit. Now the other users who did not get these packs with their cards get the chance to get the packs anyway for a very low price and people are still complaining!
If you bought all the plugins before, you paid more money, but there's always the chance something will be cheaper in the future so you can wait indefinitely or buy whatever you need and can afford. I couldn't afford to buy Optimaster, or Psy-Q etc... now CWA give me the chance to get them anyway, so I'm very happy

Know what you mean Stardust.
I feel like buying all the Creamware's plug I don't have but yes, It could be much wiser to see if another bundle won't surface soon.
Or better, I should be getting a second hand scope pro with the plug ins I'm after.
Those new plugs have awakened my Dsp hunger. Two Pulsars II ain't enough now...

Depending on where you stand, this 4.5 is a godsend or a pleague, but it's sure is a sign of more things to come.

Now Creamware, bring on the 5.0 with EXTC (enhanced xtc), OSX compatiblity and the 100$ voucher for the new Creamware/Bowen OB Xpander...!!
