Hmmm.... MIDI doesn't get in, any player gives the "unsupported formay" error and Logic tells me ASIO doesn't respond. I also got an error telling my STDM cable that joins my 2 Pulsar2 cards isn't connected.
I tried a reinstall without success. Any feedback before I open my computer?
if you have more than one card, it could be related to the stdm cable.
The last time i've installed my cards, i've forgot to connect the stdm cable with the same problem of you.
I sometimes get that.. it seems to be the connector. I replug the the cable and it usually fixes the problem. If there were loose cable connections and tight cable connections, mine would be on the looser end. By the way, are all bridging cables like that? Cuz that's obviously a very good reason for having these connection problems.

I may wrong but I find it hard to believe that cable assembly that does not move or get unplugged and replugged for 3 years might get dirty or unstable.
Anyways, I'm just glad it was a very temporary thing. It was probably the heat because I was riding the computer a bit that day with multi-tasking(video conversions, audio editing and burning DVD's all at the same time). I have one of those silent towers with the soundproofing padding so the heat could have been it.
