How to use Inputs on second Pulsar 2 ?

I have 2 Pulsar 2's and all's stable, BUT I can't get a signal in or out of the second card through the analogue connections.

I've 'activated' these inputs and outputs within cubase, which seems to 'see' them quite happily, but when I present a signal to Pulsar 2(2)inputs, no signal appears at the cubase mixer even though input properly selected in inspector.

Card 1 works fine, and the midi ins and outs on the second card work too - it's just the audio ins and outs.

I bet you know the answer - can you help?

PS I'm working in xtc mode

You have to modify your xtcproject.pro to include the new inputs/outputs. You need to connect them to asio I/O.
I use this setup (2XPulsar II in xtc mode) with no problems...
