Cool photo hubird 
You could make something very sci-fi from this.
(well, more sci-fi than it already is
It would be cool to see the escalator animated to move up or down

This is one i did in Max called Grid

not sure what you mean with going down...you probably mean the top ends of the escalator itself are 'falling' down? or yet the escalator's steps are going downward?
Btw, the picture by experiment was taken with 'night' preset active, therefor the strong colours of the red and green posts and the whites of the escalators.
I liked it, I just added a bit of 'Plastic wrap' to emphasize the artificial atmosphere.

Yes. If you look at the bottom of the escalator, the escalator is going up. At the end of the escalator, it seems (eye illusion maybe?) that escalator stops at the water's edge.On 2005-11-04 10:18, hubird wrote:

PS. I edited the picture, I removed the ceiling of the bridge part at the very right, it's just dark now above the little tree.
