Hi everyone,
I know this is off-topic (couldn't figure out where to put this post) but can anyone access the FAQ's section, the Support DB or their own allkeys.skf on Creamware's website? I've tried to get a response from Creamware about it, but they keep side-stepping the problem and not giving me a straight answer.
It seems amazing to me that they can keep updating the website with their 'latest amazing things' but they won't fix the basic support functions that should be fundamental to the website.
Any hints? Am I being unfair about this?
Cheers,
AudioDan

WHAT'S UP WITH CREAMWARE'S WEBSITE???
I believe that they havn't got the resources for other than the absolute most important features at the moment, which are those that will actually make money on a short term basis.
The support functions like FAQ's and "how to..."'s etc. has been run by this very comunity for quite some time now (at least the last three years or so). This might also explain why we see Ralf taking a more active role here on PlanetZ than he used to before CW's #near death experience".
I don't expect the situation to change untill CW are making enough money on their new ASB's. Lets just hope that it will become the success that could breath air into more normal support functions and further developments of the Scope-platform.
At the moment I think that everyone are holding their breaths and hoping that the ASB-sales will boom. I know I am

I don't think the FAQ nor Support DB page exist at all. I can faintly remember some Support DB section, but it wasn't terribly useful as most of the stuff it covered is in the manuals now. They used to have a forum but closed it because.. well.. they kept pointing people to this forum =P. Their phone and mail contact info is there anyway, which is the most important.
They could probably use a link on their site to here, like "external links" or some such, but then not having one might prevent all sorts of troll to dig up the link to these forums and spam all sorts of technical nonsense (which admittedly is always fun once in a while,) so the current situation is probably a benefit to everyone (except the trolls) involved. (You can safely ignore this last paragraph.)
I can't see anywhere to download allkeys.skf anymore, but I can see my Activation Keys fine. Not sure what else you'd want.
Seriously, just copy/paste those activation keys to a local file, encrypt it and mail it to yourself on GoogleMail, print it up and put it in a safe, etc, and CW's website won't ever be a problem or a consideration for you anymore.
