Reminds me of old Stanley Clarke but with way less energy. You need to speed up the tempo a whole bunch with this.

I play a heavily modified Ibanez Artist.
I had a Seymour Duncan humbucker put in at the lead position and a single-coil in between both humbuckers. Volume knobs switch between single coil and humbucker mode(for the humbuckers, obviously). I also had a Roland GK-II synth pickup put in but I will change that to the Godin tracker soon.

All that is played through a Pod 2, plain and simple. I only use effects from my Pulsar, Logic or VST-FX to process the sound.

My home- made guitar also has Seymour Duncan at the bridge and DiMarzio at the neck.
