hi all
i want to link my dell precision m70 notebook with magma 2cb chassis holding a ScopeProject (z-link) with my desktop pc holding a ScopeProfessional (classic).
I first thought about linking over adat. as you know, the project z-link has only 1 adat. but i need 16 channels. is the adat-i/o option only for ScopeHome cards or does it fit for the project one?
the first goal is to record with my notebook, then come back to the studio and mix it on my DAW. the second is recording and mixing in the studio with a linked system.
I may have to say that I record with two tiny luna boxes over z-link...
does it actually make sens to you? what would you suggest? any opinions very welcome!
thanx, katano

ADAT and S/P-DIF are currently your only options, allowing to transfer 10 mono channels. If you want to use more, you have to add another card with more ADAT io...

Hi, I've just read your topic in Purchasing forum on the magma PCI adapter. I'm sorry for being so curious, but I hope you are not planning on using SFP with the internal cards and the ones in the magma together? Or will you connect the magma to a spare desktop machine? (A spare desktop machine could do as host...)
Good luck
