Is it possible to connect a Lexicon MPX 200 into Scope using a combination of SP/DIF, and Analog? I'm trying to send out of Scope with SP/DIF to MPX 200 ( spdif ins ), then come back into Scope via MPXs' analog outs, back into Scope RCA analog ins. This is a non issue with MPX 550, but I have no hands on rig to check routings. This particular set-up is sending out loud uncontrollable tones, I do not want to continue until I'm sure if it's OK.

given the fact that Scope is (clock) master, the MPX must be slaved to Scope to receive.
if it's setup this way and it refuses to output, then it might be the analog outs are locked to the digital ones (parallel).
the latter possibly want to be master to be able to send (sorry, dunno this particular unit)

cheers, tom

Good to hear from you my friend. I think I'll rest my ears and try to search for answers with eyes only. I'll probably find out that this I/O scheme on the budget 200 is different than the 550. I was surprised that this unit existed. I thought that the 550 was the only budget Lex. This sounds really good for 100 USD! If I get it to work great, if not I can always put it on an analog out somewhere.
