Fellow Pulsarians,
Since my DAW man, and keytech are constantly grinding for me cash, I seek eversion elsewhere.
I built my own box, now they can go grind my singer. However being a recent hardware convert, I'm going through hell.CWAs server has been giving me trouble, but RB@CWA has guided me through this painful process. Please forgive me but I've bought new toys, instead of letting management pay and grind, I want these new toys on my box only. All CWA devices load up fine. My problem is unzipping all the Celmo, and Flexor stuff.
Any tips on how I can unzip would be appreciated. I am a trained professional at unzipping evening gowns, etc. But this is a new part of my growing process.
Strength And Honor Pulsarians,
Jimmy V.

My DAW builder is killing me!!
Thank You,
I believe it's winzip. Is this a program I can download off the net?
Sorry I feel like I'm coming in the back door here. I've been so busy playing and rehearsing that I didn't think to study the platform. I know my way around once it's setup for me. Tough Tiity Jim. It's time to get in the trenches and slug it out.
I bet the spy on my crew is really enjoying watching me beg on the forum.
Again, thanks for any hjelp.

yup.
goto somewhere like here and search for winzip, just get a demo of it, I did and it still works now....
install it and then get the celmo zip file put it into a folder on desktop called, say, celmo
right clik on the zip file icon and choose extract here, and then a bar will scroll the comp will 'think' and the unzipped files will appear in the folder then you can move em where ever you want em
that how i unzip stuff
a direct link to download winzip is here
Tho I tend to use WinRAR
I edited to add the bit about winRAR

Well I downloaded the WinRar and read the read me files from Celmo, etc. But I'm just not experienced at how to actually unzip it. Have pity on my meager knowledge. Cause once I get this down I should be O.K. I've been playing with the routing window, and the basic STM1632,w/ FX int. and ext. for weeks now, not really grasping on the begining of the platform. My fault.
Thank You Sir,
Thank You Sir,
To open a packed file like zip og rar, you simply double-click on the file you want to unpack (Zip comes with windows, winrar you can buy here: http://www.rarlab.com/ ). The window that now opens will show you what's inside the packed file. From here you can either drag the files out of the packed file to a destination of your choice. This could be c:/scope/devices/synths or effects (or where ever you keep your other scope-enstruments/effects) for *.dev-files (the actual instrument, effect, etc.) Theres also a directory for presets.
Perhaps you should start by browsing around the Scope or SFP-directory in order to get an idea about how all the scope-files are organized - You'll be poking around there alot if you are to install your system yourself from now on afterall, so you might as well get aquainted with it. It's fairly simple when you get your head around it.
When you have figured out where to put *.dev/mdl-files (devices and effects) and *.pre-files (presets), you simply drag or extract the packed files to their brothers and sisters destination.
When you have unpacked the files and put them in their "preferred" destination. Close Scope down completely and restart the application, and you are ready to rock'n'roll!
Hope this helped!

You Guys Are The Best,
What I like about all you guys is there is no attitude. You all know I'm green and still help without making me feel like a beggar. I hope that someday you guys ask how to program an SEM, or find your way around Matrix 12s, or most large analog consoles, I would be glad to return the favor.
Strength And Honor,

Strength And Honor,
Mission Completed,
Now I can try out all the new toys I downloaded, and purchased. Before long I will be free of management/suck ass, problems. I am eternally grateful fellow Pulsarians. We are the only real fans of excellant sounding VAs. I have yet to hear any synths that compare. I still use hardware Oberheim XPander mixed with Scope synths, can't have one without the other now.
