Hi Scopies,

i wonder if there are any changes in the wdm-drivers of scope 4 vs scope 3.1c.

Is it recomandable to change to this drivers.

The drivers with 4.0 are exactly the same date as the ones with 3.1c. As far as I know there have been no changes. :sad:

drivers are the same however the software 4.0 has minor tweaks.

improvements are always welcomed, but the current drivers do work just fine....

Just fine if you are stuck with windows xp, but if you want windows xp x64, Mac OS X you are dead.

osx would be nice.
what can you possibly gain from xp64 at this moment in time? don't even answer....

the main thing is to have a killer machine for making music, not the latest technological wonder. if it's just toys one needs, there are plenty of those around.

so yes, if you have a windows xp machine you're very happy, as you have a better production tool than any of the fools on other platforms. :wink:

if and when xp64 becomes the standard, i'm sure that drivers(or even new cards) will appear...meanwhile, i do dream about osx.

Actually, the 3.1c/4.0 drivers *don't* work fine. I'm still having major problems with Kernel Streaming in Sonar, so I'm having to use ASIO instead. Regular MME wave seems to work fine, however.
